For the Huawei Data Center project, DUOWEI rock wool sandwich panels are adopted for external walls. Panels are double-locked via interlocking joints together with built-in sealing strips. No exposed fastener heads on panel surface, which effectively prevents rainwater infiltration. The core material is 120 mm Class A fire-resistant rock wool, establishing a solid fire safety barrier for the computer room. Benefiting from the high-efficiency thermal insulation structure, the panels block heat and cold exchange, reduce cooling energy consumption, and support the data center to achieve low-PUE operation.
The facade adopts dark grey panels as the base, accented by striking red decorative lines that outline the building contour, avoiding the monotonous look of large-area single-color walls. Vertically oriented light grey perforated aluminum panels are arranged in an orderly staggered pattern to meet the heat dissipation and ventilation requirements inside the data center. DUOWEI design team carried out precise horizontal and vertical joint alignment optimization for the external wall sandwich panels and trim system of the project. Straight lines form rhythmic vertical textures, highlighting the modern tech aesthetic of this computing power building. It achieves a perfect integration of functionality and architectural aesthetics for the enclosure system.
